John Luppo

Evangelist,love leading people to Christ.
Manager of Darryl Strawberry Ministries.

John Luppo is a Modern-Day Miracle. He is a man who has endured substantial trauma, tragedy, and overwhelming loss. His life is legitimately what Hollywood Movies are made of. Raised on the streets of the Bronx in an Italian Catholic family he went on to become a very successful Wall Street executive in his early adult life.

Wall Street led him to live a very fast life, including all the trials that came with it. Alcohol, drugs, gambling, and womanizing became the oxygen he breathed. John became more and more successful until his brother’s tragic death by overdose sent his life spiraling out of control and into rehab.

John stayed sober for 2 years, then the fast life of Wall Street got to him again.

For the next 15 years, his life was certainly a roller coaster. He made millions then lost it, had 5 houses, numerous engagements, and too many girlfriends to count. Even with the money, houses, and women, life still felt unfulfilled. Eventually, John came to his knees at 40 years old and finally got sober. For good.

John became dear friends with Pati Burke who was also in recovery. Regrettably one day he found Pati dead from complications related to addiction. This tragic event inspired John to launch a great crusade in which he made his documentary called Modern Day Miracles. Modern Day Miracles is a movie about recovery from the disease of addiction- dedicated in memory of Pati and John’s brother, Robert Luppo.

Eventually, John reached out to his childhood hero and MLB star, Darryl Strawberry, to be in the documentary. Darryl, who played for the New York Mets and New York Yankees, also had his own very serious trials in the past from addiction. It was not until after further searching for God, John was at a dinner one night, and a divine appointment that changed the trajectory of his life forever happened. Darryl was in attendance and approached John telling him about Jesus. At that moment John accepted Jesus and his journey with God’s love and Grace began.

Darryl also played an instrumental role in introducing John to the woman who he is blessed to call his wife, Chris Luppo.

John is completely on fire for God and has dedicated his life to Ministry as an Ordained Evangelist Minister. As Darryl Strawberry’s manager, John has the opportunity to travel across the United States to share his testimony in hopes of helping others. John Luppo has since started a Bible Study on Wall Street where he’s had the privilege of leading people to Christ weekly! John is blessed to have created various Faith centered businesses that help those in need.

John truly strives to make an impression on everyone he meets. From the homeless man on the street to the millionaire in the mansion. From paying for a meal, saying God bless you, all the way to leading someone to Christ. John loves helping people be delivered from bondage and fall into God’s gracious arms.

John has the privilege to frequently speak at prisons and schools to individuals about overcoming very difficult obstacles. Because of John’s salvation, he now has a beautiful family, with two precious grandchildren, a great outlook on business, and most importantly, a life filled with God’s love and overwhelming Grace. Miracles occur every day and John is an example of this and what having a relationship with God will do in your life to bring you Eternal Salvation.
